Mineral Water Žvorūnė
Sanatorium Gradiali is proud of its mineral water Žvorūnė, extracted from a 570-meter-deep well. This water is used for drinking as well as in wellness and rehabilitation treatments (inhalations, baths, underwater massage, and pools). It is magnesium-calcium sodium sulfate chloride mineral water with a total mineralization of 20 g/l and a slightly alkaline pH of 7.67.
According to scientific studies on the age of underground water, Žvorūnė is estimated to be 225,000–250,000 years old (confirmed by Dr. Vytautas Samalavičius, researcher at the Institute of Geosciences, Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, Vilnius University).
The mineral water is recommended for the treatment of digestive tract disorders (chronic gastritis, uncomplicated stomach and duodenal ulcers, chronic colitis, enterocolitis, chronic liver, gallbladder and duct inflammations, gallbladder dyskinesia, chronic pancreatitis), endocrine disorders (early stages of diabetes, obesity), kidney diseases (kidney stones, urinary tract diseases), and for treating early sore throat (gargling).
We recommend drinking the mineral water according to the provided guidelines in our mineral water pavilions (biuvetes) located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the sanatorium.

Located only 500 meters from the sea, Sanatorium Gradiali first opened its doors in 2013 with 60 rooms. After reconstruction stages (in 2018 and 2022), the sanatorium expanded to 191 modern and cozy rooms and apartments.
Today, the hotel offers 278 rooms and apartments to suit every guest’s needs.
